Penn Wood alumni and Canadian Football League star Kamar Jorden, along with other community leaders, coaches, and players from all levels invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Darby Youth Football Clinic!!

    

Born and raised in Darby, Jorden played for the Colwyn Comets and graduated from Penn Wood High making 1st Team All-Delco & 2nd Team All-PA.  Earning a full football scholarship, he graduated from Div-1 NCAA school Bowling Green State University, making 1st Team All-Conference while being one of the top receivers in the country.  Signing to the Minnesota Vikings out of college, Jorden would go on to play 6 years pro in the NFL, CFL, and AFL, respectfully, having stints with the Indianapolis Colts, AFL's Spokane Shock, and currently with CFL's Calgary Stampeders.

 

Jorden, along with special guest players and coaches, will provide kids with not only the basics of the game, but also help improve kids overall football skills with drills that will focus on speed, agility, correct mechanics, and football development. The older kids will get coached up with more position specific drills from experienced players and coaches to help take their game to the next level going through the summer. 


  

Our guest coaches feature current and former NFL, CFL, and Arena Football League players, as well as NCAA and High School coaches.

 

Snacks and lunch will be provided, and all participants will receive an Darby Youth Football Clinic T-Shirt!

 


 

NOTE: A waiver will be REQUIRED to be signed/approved from a parent or guardian in order for the child to participate.

Kamar Jorden

Kamar Jorden is a Darby Native, Penn Wood Alumni, and current Canadian Football League stand-out wide receiver. Graduating from Bowling Green State University in 2012, he's went on to play professionally, having stints with the Minnesota Vikings, Calgary Stampeders of the CFL, and the Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League. He's currently going on his 5th year with the Calgary Stampeders, playing a big role with the team. A 2007 graduate from Penn Wood, he went on to earn 1st Team All-Delco and 2nd Team All-Pennsylvania his senior season, also playing in the PSFCA East/West State All-Star Game.
